Lists

Bullet and numbered lists with nesting and keyboard reordering.

Bullet lists

Type - (hyphen) or * (asterisk) followed by a space at the start of a line to create a bullet list. You can also use the slash menu or the toolbar. Each new line within the list automatically gets a bullet.

Numbered lists

Type 1. followed by a space to start a numbered list. Subsequent items are numbered automatically as you press Enter. The numbering updates dynamically if you reorder or delete items.

Nesting

Press Tab to indent a list item, creating a nested sub-list. Press ShiftTab to outdent it. You can nest multiple levels deep. The keyboard shortcuts Ctrl] and Ctrl[ also work for indenting and outdenting.

Moving items

Use Alt and Alt to move the current list item up or down within its list. This works for both bullet and numbered lists, and the numbering adjusts automatically.
