Tables

Insert grids, navigate with Tab, resize columns, and exit cleanly.

Creating tables

Use the slash menu (type /table) or the table button in the formatting toolbar to insert a table. Tables are inserted as a 3×3 grid by default. You can add more rows and columns after insertion using the table controls.

Resizing columns

Drag the column borders left or right to adjust column widths. Each column can be sized independently to accommodate its content.

Exiting a table

Press CtrlEnter while inside a table to exit it and place the cursor on a new paragraph below. If the cell contains a todo item, CtrlEnter toggles the checkbox first — use ShiftCtrlEnter to bypass that and exit the table. If the table is the last element in the note, a new empty paragraph is created automatically.
