Mobile layout

A touch-optimized single-column layout with full-screen editor and floating toolbar.

Overview

On mobile devices, Snownotes uses a streamlined single-column layout optimized for touch. The document list is your home screen — you can search, apply filters, sort, and browse your notes. All the same organizational features (categories, tags, colors, pinning) are available from the mobile interface.

Full-screen editor

Tapping a note opens the editor in full screen, giving you maximum space to write. Use the back arrow in the top-left corner to return to the document list. The document menu (⋯) in the top-right provides access to collaboration, printing, duplicating, version history, sharing, and other actions.

Mobile toolbar

A floating toolbar at the bottom of the editor provides quick access to formatting options, todos, and the color picker. In its collapsed state, it shows a compact formatting menu. Tap the expand button to reveal the full set of formatting buttons — bold, italic, underline, headings, lists, code, tables, and more.
