Search & filtering
Full-text search, the quick switcher, view filters, and category/tag filters.
Full-text search
Press CtrlK or click the search icon in the document list toolbar to open the search bar. Type your query and the document list filters in real time. Search looks across both note titles and body text, using fuzzy matching so you don't need to type exact phrases. When a note is open in the editor, matching terms within it are highlighted so you can quickly locate relevant passages.
Quick switcher
Press CtrlP to open the quick switcher — a fast, keyboard-driven way to jump between notes. Start typing part of a note's title and the list filters instantly. Results are sorted with your most recently opened notes first, then by last-modified date. Use the ↑/ ↓ arrow keys to navigate and Enter to open. Press Escape to dismiss.
View filters
The view selector dropdown at the top of the document list lets you filter notes by time period (Today, This week, This month), or by status (Pinned, Todos, Shared, Archived). These filters can be combined with category and tag filters for more precise results. Each filter option shows a count of how many notes match.
Category and tag filters
Select one or more categories and/or tags from the sidebar or the view selector. Category filters use OR logic — notes belonging to any of the selected categories are shown. Tag and other filters use AND logic — notes must match all active filters to appear. Active filters are displayed as removable pills at the top of the document list.
