Version history

Recover earlier versions, duplicate notes, and restore unsaved drafts.

Recovering earlier versions

Open the document menu (⋯) and select "Document history" to browse previous saves of a note. You can preview each version and restore it if needed. This is useful for undoing large changes or recovering content that was accidentally deleted.

Duplicating notes

Select "Duplicate note" from the document menu to create an independent copy of the current note. The duplicate is a new note with its own ID and history — changes to the copy do not affect the original, and vice versa.

Draft recovery

If the app detects an unsaved draft from a previous session — for example, if your browser closed unexpectedly or your connection was lost — it offers to restore or discard the draft when you reopen the note. This prevents data loss in the event of unexpected interruptions.
